House of Neighborly Service is a community resource center where people who live in southern Larimer County may receive a variety of services. Guided by its motto—Help for Today, Hope for Tomorrow—HNS staff and volunteers provide for basic needs such as food, clothing, prescription, utility and transportation assistance, and emergency shelter to those in crisis.
The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) is administered through the Larimer County Department of Human Services for Larimer County residents. The program provides child care assistance to families who meet the income guidelines and who are in an eligible activity.
The Healthy Communities Program provides application assistance to pregnant women and families that may be eligible for Medicaid and/or CHP+. The program also assists those already receiving Medicaid and/or CHP+ in understanding their benefits and accessing medical, dental, vision, mental health and specialty services. We help pregnant women find providers for their prenatal care, helping to ensure a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program For Women, Infants, And Children (WIC) provides nutritious foods and nutrition education to pregnant,
breastfeeding
and postpartum women to improve their diets and the diets of infants and children under age 5 who have a financial need.
The EI Colorado Program provides developmental supports and services to children birth through two years of age who have special developmental needs. It can help improve your child’s ability to develop and learn. It can also help you and your family learn ways to support and promote your child’s development, within your family activities and community life. The EI Colorado program provides EI services, such as occupational, speech or physical therapy, to help infants and toddlers grow and develop, and to help their family in this process. It is a voluntary program and does not discriminate based on race, culture, religion, income level, or disability
Housing Authority of the City of Loveland’s(HACOL) purpose is to provide low and moderate income residents of Loveland with opportunities for home and community through housing.
Food Bank for Larimer County works to provide food to all in need through community partnerships and hunger-relief programs. Staffed by 30 employees and supported by 2,000 volunteers, the Food Bank distributed more than 8 million pounds of food in 2011. Established in 1984, the Food Bank is the only Feeding America clearinghouse for donated food in Larimer County.
Larimer County Health Department provides timely immunizations to infants and children, and to ensure that vaccinations required for school entry are available to school-age students.
Summitstone health partners is a non-profit healthcare provider that provides
comprehensive behavioral and mental health care
in Northern Colorado, with a focused ability to treat people of all ages who have multiple mental health and substance abuse disorders. SummitStone Health Partners is focused on providing mental health intervention and treatment to citizens for whom the current medical and insurance systems offer no safety net.
The Larimer County Workforce Center provides easy access to a wide array of employment and training services. Workforce also provide referral services to a wide array of partner agencies and other community-based organizations who offer health and human services.
Project Self-Sufficiency's goal as an organization is to cultivate the grit and determination necessary for a lifetime of achievements for single parents and their children. By providing access to education and career development, we strengthen the self-power necessary for single parents to push through barriers in order for them to live a completely different kind of life.
